About me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Management Science & Operations group at London Business School, working on advanced analytics for healthcare operations.

I received a Ph.D. in Operations Reserch from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), under the supervision of Prof. Dimitris Bertsimas. I earned a Diplome d'ingenieur (MSc. equivalent) in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and am part of the French Corps des Mines.

Before joining MIT, I worked for one year as an analyst in the French Venture Capital firm Ventech.

About my research

My research interests lie at the intersection of optimization and statistics, with application to healthcare operations.

I devote half of my research time to improving healthcare operations using analytics. In collaboration with Beth Israel Medical Center, I designed a series of machine learning models to predict patient flows within and out of the hospital, which are now fully integrated into their EHR system. We are now working on an overall optimization model to coordinate bed assignment decisions across the entire hospital.

The second half of my time is spent on methodological contributions in the field of discrete optimization and machine learning. In particular, I developed a combination of first-order and cutting-plane methods to solve large scale mixed-integer optimization problems, and successfully applied them to cardinal examples from the operations research and machine learning literature.
